Performing Arts (Entry Levels 2 & 3)

An energetic and lively practical course, including at least three public performances per year.

Entry Requirements
Commitment and enthusiasm for Performing Arts, students are able to study at entry level 1, 2 or 3.

Length of course:
1 - 2 years depending on which level the learner is at.

Core Units
• Health & Safety
• Assertiveness
• Introduction to Skills for Work

Specialist Units
• Developing Performing Skills
• Developing Media Skills

Basic Skills
• Numeracy and literacy are also incorporated into the programme

Assessments
Evidence is gathered for portfolio which is formally assessed by tutors.
There are no examinations.

Progression
BTEC Introductory Certificate / Diploma in Performing Arts
