NVQ Level 3 in Nail Services

Entry Requirements
Grade D or above in Maths, English and IT or a manicure and pedicure certificate.

Length of course: 1 year

You will learn to
• Ensure your own actions reduce risks to Health & Safety
• Promote additional products or services to clients
• Contribute to the financial effectiveness of a business
• Enhance the appearance of natural nails using artificial nail systems
• Maintain, repair and enhance artificial nail structures
• Provide self tanning treatments
• Design and create images incorporating nail art techniques

Assessments
Assessments are continuous throughout the course together with assignments, tests and the completion of a portfolio of work.

Materials required
Beauty Therapy kit, uniform and textbook.

Key Skills
This is a compulsory part of the course.
