Edexcel Entry level BTEC Award in Business Administration


This qualification provides the opportunity to study six units including:
• Working in Business Administration
• Using a computer in business
• Using office equipment in business
• Preparing and learning from work placement

Progression:
If you are successful at Entry level 3, you may progress to level 1 qualification in a range of vocational areas.





Edexcel Level 1 BTEC Award, Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration


This qualification gives learners a broad, relevant and vocationally-based introduction to administration work in business. Learners can build credits and progress through the Award, Certificate and Diploma programme.

Entry Requirements
Successful completion of Entry Level 3 or a number of GCSE examinations

This qualification provides the opportunity to study a variety of units including:

• Working in Business Administration
• Creating business documents
• Supporting business meetings
• Ideas for small businesses
• Job opportunities in business administration

Progression
On successful completion of the Diploma level, you may progress to the BTEC First Diploma in Business, IT or other relevant programme.





BTEC First Diploma in Business (Level 2)


In this programme you will learn how a business works and develops.

Entry Requirements
Minimum of 4 GCSEs D to G or GNVQ Foundation in Business

Length of Course: 1 year

Core Units
• Exploring business purposes
• Developing customer relations
• Investigating financial control

Plus 3 specialist units from
• Business communication
• Doing business online
• Starting a small business

Progression
On to BTEC National Certificate in Business





BTEC National Certificate in Business (Level 3)


Business/e-business is expanding rapidly as the 21st century progresses and will make an increasing contribution to the growth of the UK economy.
Organisations need a skilled workforce to enable them to increase their competitiveness, expand their markets and improve the products and services they offer by means of the internet.

Entry Requirements
4 grade C passes at GCSE including English Language and Maths

Length of Course: 2 years
