Welcome to Stockton Riverside College’s website where you will be able to access general information about the college and find out more about the courses that we offer to learners of all ages.

I am delighted to let you know that SRC is continuing to extend its learning environment with exciting developments at Billingham and Teesdale. Merger with Bede Sixth Form College in Billingham has led to the construction of a brand new college building, together with a sports centre complete with all weather pitches, both of which will open in Billingham in August 2009.

In addition, the campus at Teesdale is being extended to include a higher education centre, new facilities for performing arts, hospitality and catering and an enhanced reception area, with a dedicated information and guidance section. SRC can now offer Advanced Level academic courses as well as vocational qualifications in a wide range of subjects, and I am pleased to report that this year the sixth form has again achieved high examination results with a 99% success rate for A Levels and a 95% success rate for AS Levels. Our student achievement and success rates are amongst the highest in general FE colleges in England.

We are proud of all our students and their achievements and will continue to deliver a high level of support and advice to all learners to ensure every individual has the opportunity to progress to employment or higher education.

Leadership, management and governance are outstanding (Ofsted Inspection 2006) and on the grounds of overall performance and quality of teaching and learning provision, SRC is one of the leading FE colleges in the country.
