Mon-Thurs: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Fri: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm

The Learning Resource Centre at Bede is central to the whole Sixth Form and supports you in your studies whilst at college. We provide you with access to high quality learning resources including books, journals and a wide range of electronic materials. When you enrol you will be provided with a username and password to allow you to use the computer facilities we have on offer and to access the Internet. The Learning Resource Centre Manager is there to help you use the IT and also 4,500 books, 45 journals as well as daily newspapers, company annual reports and other print materials.

E-library

The e-library is where you will find easy access to a range of electronic resources to help you in your study; from electronic resources such as Infotrac, Proquest Literature, Britannia Online etc. to help guides on using these resources and useful web links. Access to the e-library through the VLE will be explained to you when you enrol at SRC Bede Sixth Form. Here you will be able to access various databases, which the college subscribes to. We can also arrange for you to access these services at home via the Athens Service.
