General Studies
General Studies is your chance to test your skills in a body of content which is not specifically related to any particular subject area. The skills you develop are valued by some universities and employers and can be transferable into your main courses of study.

- Science and Society (AS and A2)
Entry requirements
The college targets carefully those students who are most likely to be successful in this subject.
Method of assessment
Two examinations for AS and two examinations for A2 (one of which is based on pre-release material)
Progression
General Studies is valued by some universities and some are prepared to consider it as part of an offer for entry.
Additional information
The AS and A2 are both delivered as short courses and our record of success is at the very least, excellent.

Level AS/A2 both available in year 2
