Course content
AS:
Unit 1: Exploring socialisation, culture and identity - pre-released material
Unit 2: Topics in socialisation, culture and identity - the family
A2:
Unit 3: Power and Control - Education.
Unit 4: Exploring social inequality and difference - social inequality and difference in the context of sociological research.
Entry requirements
GCSE English and Maths at C or above are strongly advised.
Method of assessment
All assessment is by exam both at AS and A2
Progression
Having a good understanding of human relationships can be a bonus in many careers, which is why sociology students are found in a range of sectors.
