Business Studies

Introduction

Business organisations play an important role in your life. Everyday we all interact with businesses, use their products and make decisions as consumers of their services. The business studies course looks at what makes a successful business and the elements it needs to develop and grow. It puts you in the positions of manager, employee and consumer and focuses on how decisions are made. You will use real examples and investigate real businesses in order to understand the key factors for success.

You will begin to understand how businesses behave in the face of competition, changing lifestyles and environmental issues.
